Ayah & Steven flew from Alabama to Montreal to get married in our beautiful city. It was Ayah's wish to get married in Montreal since she was a little girl, and all her dreams came through that beautiful weekend in June of 2022.

Ayah has a specific vision of her wedding. Get the full Montreal experience. From the architecture, the pictures, the food, the night life... EVERYTHING. She lived here for a bit when she was a little girl as her dad was doing her PhD at McGill. No need to say, she fell in love with our city.

The experience was all about recreating the castle look in an OG, restored house. Vintage cutlery, charger plates and even the cake was inspired by the castle look. The McGill faculty club was great to envelop our couple and their guests in a luxurious, romantic and antique ambiance. We only had to bring in a few elements to really set the tone.

She wanted her princess castle wedding, in the city of her dreams. Montreal is filled with beautiful buildings. But, only one of them is located in the McGill grounds. The McGill Faculty Club. A member's only restaurant. One of the first houses on the Island to have an elevator - still working today. The house is stunning - with original woodwork, high ceilings, grand stairs... and what can we say about their reception room? It was everything Ayah wanted, and more!

Ayah & Steven only came to Montreal once during our working together. Even if everything was done virtually and we only met once in person, they trusted us with planning and designing the best day of their lives. Countless emails and discussions built that relationship allowing them to relax and enjoy their wedding day.

To keep the decor within budget, we opted for silk flowers from Casa Deramo. Draping the railing with flowers, the high floral centerpieces, the two massive arrangements by the staircase and the massive amount of candles was all that was needed to set the tone.
